Before the recent Phantom Drop Head Coupe, the Corniche was Rolls-Royce's flagship model, and fifth to bear the illustrious Corniche name. It debuted in 2000, and was the most expensive vehicle offered by Rolls-Royce at the time. Rolls-Royce’s venerable 325HP 6.75L turbocharged V8 generates a hefty 544 ft-lbs of torque and urges the Corniche forward effortlessly. This is relaxed, top-down motoring at its finest!
The Final Edition consists of the last 56 Corniche models ever made, and these Corniches are also the last hand-built motor cars to roll out of the historic Crewe production facility. This Final Edition represents the end of an era!
The Corniche comes outfitted with every luxury and refinement characteristic of a Rolls-Royce. The car has a Connolly leather interior, Wilton wool carpets, chrome gauges, and exotic wood trim. Dual automatic temperature control, a six-disc CD changer, automatic headlamps and automatic ride control are standard. All Corniches were completely hand-built. The motor car was considered a slightly softer and even more exclusive version of the Bentley Azure, and the most exclusive convertible in the world at the time.
